SuperbCube!

We had to have some guys come out this last week to fix our ice maker, thankfully covered under the 1 year. Yay Us! I am not a huge ice fan, but the hubby has to have it and a lot in his drinks. We just happen to have one silicone ice tray with 9 cubes. But they were perfect.

We used the Silicone Ice Tray by Practico Kitchen Goods, it has 9 cubes, and by cubes I mean real cubes. They come out to be GIANT cubes that are just perfect. It was so easy to fill with water without having a spilled mess. I could open the freezer door and hold it in one hand (being clumsy like myself) and never spill. The silicone ice tray has a steel rim to help keep the ice tray sturdy. Most ice trays you have to beat and twist them around to get the ice cubes out but not with these. You can just push up from the bottom and the ice cubes slid out so easily, whole, one at a time and no mess of chips coming with it.

The ice cube tray is made from silicone with a little bit of a lip to it to help keep mess free and enough room between each cube. The Silicone material is FDA approved also is BPA free. Not only can you freeze water to help keep your drinks cool, but you can freeze just about anything. We first used water because we needed some ice, but then I tried some vanilla coffee from the pot the other morning. I decided to add it to my milk for a different kind of iced coffee. I am planning on trying some different creamers and trying iced coffee with creamer iced cubes.

I just love how these cubes of ice look, I can not put it into any more words other than they are perfect. It is an easy clean up, and once you take a cube or two out you can just fill that cube or cubes up when you stick it back in the freezer. These would do great for just every day use or when you are having friends and family over and a more fancy look to add to your drinks. I can not wait to purchase some more of these!
