Take a part & Build toys for any girl or boy

Does your child love building things? Well mine does, he is 4 and if he is not playing with his super hero's, he has legos out building whatever he can. He has always pretended he was working and fixing things with his Home Depot apron and home depot tool set. I guess typical boy, right? I found this cute Take a part build toy that I thought would be a fun project for us, but it turned into him and daddy project. :P

The take apart build toy is recommended for ages 5 and up, my son is 4 1/2 and he could not do this on his own, but it was still fun. There are 3 different kits that you can choose from a blue race car, a yellow truck or a red plane. We chose the blue race car, since of course everything has to be blue. :P Each kit has around 50 pieces (the red plane has 57 and the yellow truck has 54). There are enough pieces for each kit to have 2 different models and the tools are included to build with. The directions to build the toys are pretty easy to follow. They show at the top of each step which pieces you will need and of course then shows how they fit.

The pieces to build with are durable and safe, they are eco-friendly rubber fiber material. They are large pieces so even the small hands can build these models. Your child can either build with the directions or let their imagination allow them to build whatever they want to. I love the colors of these toys, they are simple yet bright and unisex.

We loved this toy, it is a great little project to have together. It was a great father and son activity that was fun to watch. We did like one model a little more than the other because the second one that we tried it was like the tire could not go up and did not seem as durable as the first. But eitherway, it was fun and is perfect on a rainy day. My son even liked taking the cars eyes off and sticking them in different places or giving the car just one eye. It reminded me of a show he use to watch on sprout with the cars and trucks. :P

If you are looking for a great gift for a child who loves to build, a boy or girl this is a neat little toy. I would agree with 5 and up, maybe even 6 and up just depending on the child. But they are cute little toys. :) You can check them out at the link below.
