Keep those bugs out, and let the clean air in!

I have tried quite a few different screen doors, as in the ones that can easily be attatched at the top to keep the bugs out and clean air in. The problem is most do not do that, the last one I had took too much work to make sure it was closed enough and flies still made their way in to our house! There is a magnetic one by Premium Choice Products that works perfectly. The only issue I had was that I did not take enough pictures before my dog tore it down but I will get more into that towards the end.

This screen can fit doors up to 34" X 82" max, it is a black color with a magnetic strip down the center. The directions on how to put this product up you have to go to their website Premium Choice Products and they have a video to show you. You lay the screen down on the floor evenly, then you add the velcro strips to the other velcro strips on the screen (You do not take the stickers off just yet). The video shows them not covering all of the sided velcro, I did. I cut the strips after laying them down to make sure it fit perfectly (you get one long roll of velcro). Then you hold it up to your door way and start from the top, taking the back sticker off and pressing it to the frame. I suggest you doing this with two people, I did it by myself thinking oh how easy but then the wind started up and my hubby was at work. My 4 year old did help me though with pulling the sticky stuff off while I pressed down. The back side of the velcro is very sticky! It is a pretty durable screen. I love that it is a strong magnet straight down the middle. So with your pets even can push through and it will go back together on it's own. I put it up on my back door so that the cool spring air could come in and since we have no shade in our backyard our pup has the freedom to come in when needed.

Let me explain the dog tearing it up part, because it was not really her fault. My hubby let her out early in the morning, went back to the recliner and fell asleep. (He is horrible about doing that!) He must have been sleep a good bit before my son and myself woke up, because when we came down stairs and I went to check out the window on the dog......She had pulled the entire screen down and chewed it up. The sticker part pulled paint off the door frame-that is how sticky it is, but that is okay with me our paint is white, it was our backdoor and I was hoenstly hoping to keep this up for awhile since I loved it so much. I wanted to cry, all I got was one picture of the screen up before sunset and was expecting to take more the next day. I was upset the hubby fell asleep and forgot the dog outside so she got bored and she really had to work hard to get it off. She knew she was in trouble and came in with her head down, but I could not yell at her, it was not her fault. So I will have to purchase myself another because these are awesome and work so perfectly. This time hubby needs to pay attention to our puppy more. ;)
