Adult coloring books are pretty popular right now. I am one of those people that is just happy coloring in the kids coloring books with my 4 year old, but I understand the ‘adult’ time. ;) I am a huge fan of all Aquatic Life, I could go to the Aquarium and watch fish, jelly fish, sharks or just look at all the amazing reefs for hours! I thought coloring in ‘The Amazing Reef Coloring Book’ would be perfect for me.

The only problem is, it was not what I expected and not so much perfect for my self, but I am sure it would work out great for someone else! It has some awesome pictures in it, I will give it that. I was not a fan of the extra white space around the coloring pages though. I also did not like how dark the black and white was, it made it hard to see the pictures to color. I know that their goal was to give you enough to be creative with. I tried it out with my colored pencils and some of my watercolor pencils. I had fun with it, but I got a little aggrivated when I could not really see what was to be colored. Or the faded fish even.

* I can color decent at times, I was tesing watercolors out for the first time. ;P *
Now someone who can draw good, with an awesome imagination this would be awesome for. They could finish the photos, add more even along with coloring the pages. If you would like to check out where to purchase your own or see some more Aquarium Dept products you can find them at the following sites!
