Change up your family fun night with this great game!

Family Fun Night just got way more interesting in my home with this awesome new game by Think Fun. This Memory Yoga game puts a fun new twist to the usual memory games that you may play with your children. The game includes 36 yoga pose tiles, 18 pairs, directions and a great sliding storage box to keep them all together.

First off before you play the game you need to do some warm-up exercises together, we do not need anyone pulling any muscles in a kids game now. ;) The Think Fun website has some great little warm up ideas for you and your children to do together before starting out the game. There are 2 different rules or ways to play this game, depending on the age of your children. The first way is made for those younger preschool aged children. Just like any other memory game you mix up the cards/tiles and lay them face down. The youngest player goes first (well duh. Haha) They can just play this game like any other memory game and find the matching yoga pose matches. The older children it gets more fun (but we tried this with my 4-year-old and he had a blast). You still set up the same (make sure you do those stretches) and the youngest goes first. If a player chooses a matching pair then they must perform the yoga pose on the matching set for 10 seconds. If they can not perform the pose for 10 seconds, they lay them back down face down as if it were not a match. And if a player chooses a nonmatching pair, they just loose that turn basically.

This game is an adorable fun idea to me! I just fell in love with this game so quickly. This Memory Yoga game can even be played by a child alone if they like, you can even change up the rules for your family some. There is no law against game rule changes, heck we do it all the time…..or is that just my family. ;) This game is for mainly ages 3 and up, it is a great game for preschoolers to improve their balance, flexibility and coordination while boosting their matching and memory skills. I love that the game can grow with the child, not just another game that gets lost in the closet after one-time play and never seen again for years. This game is actually fun! It is great to play with the family on family game nights, even for the stay at home mommies with their children. I want to take it to one of our mommy and me groups and test it out with the little ones. Just all fun and games. And when you are finished with the game it is an easy clean up. It all fits in a box that slides into the cover box, directions are with the set and lists all of the poses and what they are called on the direction sheet. If you are looking for a great new, fun game for your family this needs to be the next purchase. This could make a great gift for children also. And heck maybe one of those crazy adult get together you can test them out. ;) This game is just a fun way to spend time together and let everyone get a little yoga exercise in for the day. Think Fun has so many other games listed on their website and their prices are great for these games! Don't miss out on some giggles and fun times!
